Job Title: Fabricator

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable Fabricator to fabricate, position, align, and assemble structural metal components. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working from blueprints and work orders and using various fabrication tools and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, lay out, align, and fit metal components.
- Cut, clean, bend, grind, and shape aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
- Tack-weld and assemble metal parts according to specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment including brakes, rolls, shears, plasma cutters, grinders, punch presses, drills, lathes, and milling machines.
- Use hand tools, welding equipment, jigs, fixtures, clamps, and other fabrication equipment.
- Inspect completed work for proper fit, alignment, and quality.
- Move and position materials using hoists, cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment.
- Grind and smooth surfaces, remove high spots, and make necessary adjustments.
- Create and use templates, patterns, fixtures, and other work aids.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all required PPE and safety procedures.
Requirements
- 6–12 months of related fabrication experience or training preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Welding and metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to set up and operate fabrication machinery.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable.
Work Details
- Full-time position in a hands-on metal fabrication environment.
- Frequent standing, reaching, handling materials, bending, kneeling, and working around machinery.
