    Job Summary

    Do you find the automotive industry and performance vehicles interesting? Do you like metal working and welding? Do you like to learn about new manufacturing technology and improving your fabrications skills? Then you might be the right candidate to join our organization. We are seeking a Fabricator to join our team of marketing, sales and engineering professionals focused on designing and manufacturing performance upgrades for vehicles. In this role, you will work with a team of professionals to manufacture exhaust systems and vehicle performance upgrades. The ideal candidate is team oriented, mechanically inclined, hands-on, has a strong willingness to learn and is able to remain calm under pressure.

    Responsibilities

    Fabricate exhaust systems and components per engineering specifications

    Prepare metal tubes and stage them for the next operation

    Run machines such as bandsaws, tube cutters, and metal tube benders while also performing some of the machine set-ups

    Measure, cut, deburr, and stage raw materials

    Execute all work assigned in a timely and accurate manner against time and quality standards

    Ensure that orders are fulfilled with 100% accuracy and with minimal scrap

    Provide input and ideas for continuous improvements that can be made in process, equipment, or tools

    Adhere to all safety rules and company policies

    Support team members and cross-functional production needs as required

    Attend training to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge

    Work with Engineering team to solve manufacturing challenges

    Provide general support to the Sales and Marketing teams as need

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required

    Must have 0-1 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience

    Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

    Basic math and measurement knowledge and skills

    Experience in MIG welding

    Experience in cutting, deburring, and staging raw materials

    General knowledge of metal fabrication machinery

    Ability to interpret and follow manufacturing instructions and engineering drawings

    Ability to utilize jigs and fixtures per instructions

    Highly organized with the ability to work with a team to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
