Job Summary- 1st shift!

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to support metal fabrication and welding operations. This role is responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating structural components, performing fit-ups, and completing welding according to specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and dependable, with a strong understanding of fabrication equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and cut lists
• Identify structural shapes and materials used in fabrication
• Operate fabrication equipment including shears, press brakes, angle rolls, pinch rolls, iron workers, punches, and automatic band saws
• Use forklifts, overhead cranes, welders, torches, and various hand and power tools (grinders, drills, etc.)
• Perform fit-up of parts within required tolerances and according to prints
• Weld components according to weld symbols and specifications
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Work overtime as needed to meet production demands

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Strong understanding of structural steel shapes and materials
• Proficient with fabrication and welding equipment
• Knowledge of welding symbols and fit-up processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
