TalentLogistix is immediately hiring skilled Fabricators in the Talladega, AL area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive hourly rate for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.

Pay Rate: $27.00/hr-$35.00/hr (depending on experience)

Schedule: 1st shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-4:00pm

Location: Talladega, AL 35160

We’re looking for a hands-on Fabricator who thrives in a job shop environment — where no two days and no two parts are the same. This is a non-production, blueprint-to-completion role working with one-off customer parts made from heavy gauge materials including sheet goods and structural steel (¼" and thicker).

This role is ideal for someone who is highly experienced across a range of fabrication equipment, confident in working independently, and takes pride in turning raw material into custom parts without jigs or fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret detailed blueprints and complete custom fabrications from scratch
• Work with various fabrication equipment:
• Roller mills, punches, lathes, drills, saws, and more
• Fabricate with sheet goods and structural steel — heavy gauge material (¼" and up)
• Perform accurate measurements, layout, cutting, forming, and assembly
• Complete each part from start to finish independently
• Adapt to a wide variety of unique and complex fabrication tasks
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience fabricating 10+ different part types per month — variety matters
• Ability to work from blueprint to final product without assistance
• Experience working with heavy steel and thick gauge materials
• Mastery of a wide range of shop equipment and fabrication tools
• Job shop background — not high-volume production
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Self-motivated, accountable, and able to manage your own workload
• Comfortable working without fixtures or jigs — problem-solving mindset is a must

This is a job for a builder. A one-off specialist.
