About the Role:

Join Over The Line Art as a Face Paint Artist in the vibrant city of Seattle, WA! This is an exciting opportunity for creative individuals who love to bring smiles to faces through their artistic talent. If you have a passion for art and enjoy interacting with people, we want to hear from you!

Our locations include Woodland Park Zoo, The Seattle Center Monorail, Waterfront Park and select fairs and festivals. This job requires you to work at each of these locations.

The job pays a guaranteed hourly rate of $21.30 plus tips. 26% commission on all net sales is offered if the average sales for each work week are more than $21.30/hr.

Responsibilities:

Create engaging caricature portraits for customers in a retail setting.

Interact with clients to capture their likeness and personality.

Set up and maintain an inviting workspace to attract customers.

Manage time efficiently to ensure a steady flow of artwork.

Promote and sell caricature art to enhance customer experience.

Stay updated on trends in caricature art and customer preferences.

Requirements:

Proven experience in painting, drawing or a related art field not necessary but extremely helpful.

Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

Portfolio showcasing caricature work is required.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Basic knowledge of art supplies and tools used in painting and drawing.

High school diploma or equivalent; art degree is a plus.

Transportation - ability to get to work on time.

Minimum 18 hours per week.

Compensation: $21.30 - $45.00 per hour

Over The Line Art is a Seattle based art entertainment company specializing in caricatures, face painting, body art and airbrushing. We’ll transform any event- from corporate team building functions to weddings- into a unique and entertaining experience.
