Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Cleaning Responsibilities:

· Wash and sanitize production equipment, tables, and surfaces per SQF requirements

· Operate ware washer and washing machine/dryer

· Perform sweeping, mopping (wet and dry), and other general cleaning of floors

· Clean common areas, restrooms, storage, and waste zones as needed

· Accurately complete cleaning logs and documentation

· Support allergen control and food safety programs through strict sanitation protocols

· Maintenance Responsibilities:

· Perform minor repairs (e.g., door adjustments, replacing ceiling tiles, fixing light plumbing or electrical issues)

· Assist with preventive maintenance checks and equipment inspections

· Coordinate with external vendors when professional repair services are needed

· Assemble shelving, racks, or assist in moving or installing light machinery

· Conduct small painting, patching, or facility upkeep projects as assigned

· Identify and report hazards, damages, or needed supplies

Qualifications:

· Experience with cleaning in a food manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

· Basic handyman or light maintenance experience required

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

· Familiarity with SQF, GMP, or food safety standards is a plus (training provided)

· Dependable, organized, and self-motivated

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet for extended periods

Part time or full time is open for discussion. Start time would be 12 pm depending on how many hours desired.
