    Job Description

    The NBCUniversal Facilities Ops & Engineering Team is looking for a Contract Services Manager in Universal City, CA! In this role, you will drive operational excellence by establishing consistency, efficiency and best practices in vendor relations and service performance within NBCU West Coast Studio Operations business. Oversight and collaboration will be key to supporting sourcing initiatives, management of RFPs, Quarterly Business Reviews, large supplier contracts including Janitorial, Critical Infrastructure and Utility contracts. Your depth of facility knowledge, contract acumen and ownership mentality will lead our teams with strength and clear direction to foster highly effective relationships and best in class service. You will serve as the central point of communication between facilities staff, vendors and internal departments.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Inspire and lead (SME) Set & Meet Expectations culture such that it drives high trust and respect relationships across all colleagues and customers.
    • Drive high vendor engagement via communication, recognition, celebration, setting clear goals and expectations to foster a high-performance environment.
    • Manage third party vendors for janitorial, waste, pest control, elevators, window washing and any others that may be required.
    • Assist in developing the scope of work for contract services in conjunction with Senior Director and Sourcing.
    • Lead QBRs with vendors to track, manage and report CTIs, KPIs and develop new measures that ensure the effectiveness of business decisions.
    • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all contract service agreements to ensure proper compliance.
    • Confirm all third-party services are completed on time, within budget and process payment(s).
    • Schedule and coordinate all third-party services to be completed on time.
    • Coordinate day-to-day implementation of policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all vendors are compliant with Sourcing, Procurement & EHS requirements.
    • Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Perform regular audits of facility work orders primarily to ensure vendor costs are documented in the CMMS
    • Create engaging reports for internal teams and/or external clients to help set expectations and drive performance.
    • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data, and create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
    • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
    • Structure large data sets to find actionable information.
    • Oversee vendor requests and contacts across sites.
    • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

    What You Must Have:

    • Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent
    • 2+ years of experience in facilities management, operations, or business management
    • 2+ years of experience in vendor management
    • 2+ years of general accounting experience
    • 2+ years of experience analyzing and creating financial models
    • 2+ years of experience in data analytics and verification
    • 2+ years of experience and knowledge of enterprise business systems and integrated workplace management systems

    What Would Make You a Stand-out:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or other advanced degree
    • Experience with Excel programming
    • Campus operations experience
    • Studio operations experience

    Additional Requirements:

    • Required On-Site : This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
