We are seeking a Facilities Field Manager to lead and support our maintenance teams. This individual will oversee field operations, manage day-to-day maintenance activities, self-perform skilled work as needed, provide crew training, and ensure all preventative maintenance and project tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Oversight & Scheduling:
Supervise and coordinate all field maintenance crews.
Assign daily tasks and ensure timely and quality completion.
Provide hands-on leadership and step in to perform skilled labor when necessary.
Training & Development:
Train and mentor new and existing crew members on safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and equipment use.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.
Work Order & Ticket Management:
Monitor, manage, and prioritize incoming work orders and maintenance tickets.
Ensure timely completion and accurate documentation in the ticketing system.
Project Management:
Lead and complete small-scale facilities and infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors as needed.
Tool & Equipment Control:
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of all tools.
Fleet & Equipment Maintenance:
Manage preventative maintenance schedules for all company vehicles and field equipment.
Coordinate service and repairs to reduce downtime.
Reporting & Compliance:
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or construction, including supervisory experience.
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair.
Ability to read blueprints, maintenance manuals, and technical documents.
Experience managing work orders and maintenance ticket systems (e.g., CMMS).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in varying conditions, and travel between sites as needed.
