This role is all about making sure our church stays safe, clean, and welcoming for our congregation and community—whether that means fixing a leaky faucet, setting up classrooms, or helping keep our buildings and offices in top shape. This is more than just a maintenance job—it’s a way to serve behind the scenes and support what God is doing through the church every day..

    What You’ll Do:

Receive assigned work orders, manage projects, and complete work assignments on time

Review the facilities calendar regularly to track and prioritize service requests

Set up rooms and move tables and chairs for weekly classes

Handle basic repairs and regular maintenance around the church buildings and property

Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot issues with tools, equipment, or utility systems

Keep our tools, vehicles, power equipment, and small machinery in working order

Work with contractors when professional repair help is needed

Help make LSCC a place that looks great and functions even better

You’re a Great Fit If You:

Are mechanically minded and enjoy fixing things

Take pride in your work and pay attention to detail

Can manage your time and tasks with little supervision

Want to be part of a ministry that serves people with excellence

    Qualifications:

3+ years of facility and grounds maintenance experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Experience maintaining and operating heavy equipment with a proven ability to use hand and power tools

General knowledge of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, preferred

Experience with tractors and heavy equipment is a plus, but not required

Familiar and passionate about rodeo or ranching, with some experience working with cattle helpful

Full-time hours are Monday-Friday, 7 am-3 pm, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed for special requests or events.
