FMM is seeking a motivated professional to join our rapidly growing team as a Marketing and Social Media Specialist. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing residential and commercial properties nationally, and we are looking for the right person to showcase our strengths and quality performance in our industry through various media outlets. The Marketing Specialist will create and distribute positive branding messages and collateral that is in alignment with the culture and mission of the FMM brand.
Duties:
Collaborate with sales and marketing team to develop branding messages
Identify targets customers and markets
Identify appropriate social media platforms and other web-based tools to use in the promotion of the company
Collect and compile website traffic and internet activity in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company leadership
Collect and maintain data from marketing efforts to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives
Forecast and analyze sales trends, marketing strategies, and marketing performance; prepare and present reports summarizing information; make recommendations based on analysis
Develop and distribute materials related to sales, training, marketing and employee engagement
Develop innovative strategies to attract customers to the company’s brand through various web-based marketing programs and SEO techniques
Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing employees, clients, vendors, and professional associates
Assist in the execution of employee engagement events
Gather and produce various media for existing web or social media accounts
Maintain current knowledge of online marketing opportunities and trends, web analytics, and SEO techniques
Identify and recommend improvements and modifications to existing programs and additional or new marketing strategies or opportunities
Required Skills:
Thorough understanding of internet marketing and general marketing strategies
Photography/Videography skills
Video editing skills
Proficient in Canva
Knowledge of social media and HTML
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail
Ability to conduct and correctly interpret research and web analytics
Ability to implement marketing plans
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Enthusiastic team player
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing, Communication, or relate field. Experience in lieu of degree is accepted.
At least 3 years of internet marketing experience
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
