    A energetic company within the health and nutrition space is conducting a search for a Facilities Maintenance Manager. They will Direct and coordinate activities of maintenance team and is responsible for repair, maintenance, installation of machines, tools, and equipment and maintenance of buildings, grounds and utility systems. Responsible for managing capital project plan for the business and oversees execution and installation of capital projects.

    **This is an in person opportunity near New Brunswick, NJ.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
    • Reviews production schedule against maintenance requests to determine work priorities.
    • Develops and oversees preventive maintenance program in conjunction with maintenance staff.
    • Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
    • Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
    • Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
    • Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
    • Directs training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.
    • Confers with operations and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
    • Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
    • Directs workers and contractors engaged in buildings and grounds maintenance activities, such as snow and ice removal, mowing lawns, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse.
    • Confers with workers to resolve grievances.
    • Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of funds in budget
    • Manages capital project plan for the business and is responsible for oversight and execution of capital projects.
    • Reports to VP of Operations

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline preferred
    • High School Diploma/or GED equivalent required
    • Trade School Certificate
    • Minimum of ten (10) year’s prior experience in engineering or maintenance with a manufacturing/packaging organization
    • Prior responsibility in managing a multi-shift operation
    • People leadership experience

    Compensation: $140,000-150,000 with Bonus, Benefits, 401K match, PTO, and etc. Potential to provide small relocation package.
