Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and overall maintenance of our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring building systems, equipment, and infrastructure operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in general maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot and repair facility issues in a timely manner
• Inspect facilities and identify potential problems or safety hazards
• Maintain lighting, doors, flooring, and general building conditions
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial setting
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, or schematics is a plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
• Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
