    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to perform routine maintenance and groundskeeping duties. This role supports the upkeep, safety, and functionality of buildings and surrounding property while working under direct supervision.

    Responsibilities

    Maintenance (Approximately 50%)

    • Assist with maintenance of buildings, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
    • Install and repair drywall
    • Paint walls, ceilings, and building exteriors as needed
    • Repair walls, ceilings, and floors
    • Perform minor concrete and cement work
    • Clean and repair windows
    • Assist with roof repairs
    • Perform preventive maintenance as required
    • Maintain records of maintenance activities
    • Move furniture and equipment as needed
    • Assist with installing and maintaining cameras, monitors, and other fixtures

    Groundskeeping (Approximately 45%)

    • Sweep walkways and remove trash from property
    • Maintain lawns, including mowing, watering, weeding, trimming, raking, and spraying
    • Plant and care for grass, shrubs, and flowers
    • Shovel and move dirt manually or with equipment
    • Cut trees using chainsaws
    • Plow and shovel snow and spread salt for ice control

    Miscellaneous (Approximately 5%)

    • Assist with oversight of work participants or support personnel, as applicable
    • Perform additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Entry-level or experienced candidates with the ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
    • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
    • OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
    • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
    • Ability to pass background screening
    • Physical examination required

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Building maintenance methods and requirements
    • Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, masonry, and grounds maintenance techniques
    • Ability to interact professionally with coworkers, contractors, and the public
    • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships

    Working Conditions

    • Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
    • Travel between buildings as required
    • Use of personal protective equipment as appropriate
    • Required to complete safety and equipment training
    • Must be available to respond to emergency situations, including after hours ****
