About the Role

We’re looking for a Facilities Operations Lead who thrives on being hands-on with building systems and is ready to grow into management, or has minimal management/supervisory experience and wants to grow their skillset. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance who wants to expand into leadership while still staying close to the work.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our retail-focused real estate development properties, balancing hands-on troubleshooting with oversight of vendors and facilities programs. This is a great opportunity to expand your impact and build toward a management track.

Title: Facilities Operations Lead
Salary: Up to $115k base DOE + up to 15% Bonus + Benefits
Location: Onsite in Victorville, CA

What You’ll Do

• Perform and oversee maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and building systems.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot issues directly.
• Support vendor selection, coordination, and quality oversight.
• Conduct inspections, schedule repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve facilities-related challenges quickly and effectively.
• Serve as a point of contact for urgent facilities needs (including after-hours/weekend on a rotating basis).
• Build toward managing staff and larger teams over time.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years hands-on experience with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general maintenance).
• Strong technical foundation — someone who can diagnose and fix problems, not just delegate.
• Experience running preventive maintenance programs.
• Exposure to vendor coordination and budget support.
• Interest in leadership and professional growth into management.
