    OBJECTIVES

    The Facilities Specialist employs an important role, as you will help ensure that our facilities consistently meet Class A standards through excellent care and cleaning.

    As the primary leader for supporting cleaning operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our buildings and grounds—making sure every space is ready for services, events, and ministry activities. You'll also collaborate closely with other facilities team members to achieve these goals and support the mission of INSIGHT Church.

    Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, you will help us uphold administrative and safety compliance by researching, implementing, and maintaining cleaning and disinfecting practices that align with state and federal guidelines.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensuring that our facilities consistently meet Class A standards through excellent care and cleaning.
    • Carry out cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and presentation of the church's buildings and grounds.
      • Demonstrate keen attention to detail in identifying areas that require attention, such as dirt, cobwebs, and other disarray.
    • Conduct thorough interior cleaning across various spaces, including offices, auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, classrooms, gymnasium, kitchens, and additional areas as needed.
    • Perform cleaning tasks on floors, carpets, rugs, windows, and walls to ensure a pristine and inviting environment.
    • Clean and maintain restrooms to ensure hygiene and comfort for all.
    • Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and or floor scrubbers, and operate other equipment to maintain cleanliness throughout the facilities.
    • Wash and clean windows and mirrors to enhance the overall appearance of the facilities.
    • Disinfect frequently used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones to maintain a healthy environment.
      • Upholding administrative and safety compliance by researching, implementing, and maintaining cleaning and disinfecting practices that align with state and federal guidelines.
    • Empty trash and recycling bins to maintain cleanliness and organization.

    DAY-TO-DAY

    • This position schedule is set for Mondays and Thursdays.
