    Compensation: $30 per hour + benefits

    Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend availability, Flexible Schedule

    About Us

    We operate a shared-use commercial kitchen facility that serves a diverse group of culinary professionals and food businesses. As we expand our operations, we’re seeking a dependable, skilled Facilities Technician to join our team and help us maintain a safe, functional, and professional environment for our clients and staff.

    You’ll be working alongside an experienced technician in a hands-on, task-focused role with structured checklists, support tools, and a team that believes in clear communication and high standards.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment.
    • Follow detailed daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and SOPs.
    • Respond to repair tickets and emergencies in a timely, professional manner.
    • Assist with minor upgrades and tenant turnovers.
    • Help maintain inventory of tools and parts.
    • Keep maintenance areas and mechanical rooms clean, organized, and safe.
    • Log completed tasks using simple digital tools (spreadsheets or forms).
    • Collaborate with admin staff and fellow technicians for shared projects.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Has 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (commercial/kitchen experience is a big plus).
    • Enjoys working through checklists and finishing tasks independently.
    • Takes pride in clean work, tidy spaces, and good time management.
    • Is comfortable with tools, basic digital tracking systems, and light documentation.
    • Is reliable, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, even on messy or unexpected jobs.
    • Can lift 50+ lbs and move safely around busy kitchen environments.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working in a commercial kitchen or food production facility.
    • Familiarity with walk-ins, hood systems, and restaurant-grade plumbing.
    • OSHA-10 certification or training in facility safety protocols.
    • Current Food Handler’s License.
