    Facilities Technician II

    Saint Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $35-40/hr

    Konik is partnering with a growing commercial property management firm seeking to add a Facilities Technician to their team to support operations across a commercial & industrial property portfolio in the East Metro. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems across multiple facilities while serving as a key technical resource for tenants, vendors, and property management.

    This is a roving technician role supporting multiple industrial buildings. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with tenants, takes pride in maintaining facilities at a high standard, and thrives in a team-oriented environment where culture and accountability matter.     Facilities Technician II Responsibilities:

    • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical building systems
    • Troubleshoot building system issues, including rooftop units, air exchange systems, motors, belts, electrical components, and plumbing systems
    • Travel between multiple industrial properties throughout the day to address work orders, inspections, and service requests
    • Manage complex tenant and internal work orders, documenting diagnostics and corrective actions
    • Coordinate vendors and contractors performing HVAC, electrical, fire/life safety, and specialty maintenance work
    • Support building inspections, identify maintenance issues, and recommend solutions
    • Assist with capital improvements, equipment replacements, and facility upgrades

    Facilities Technician II Qualifications:

    • 3-10+ years of commercial or industrial building maintenance experience
    • Boiler License (2C or higher preferred) and EPA 608 Refrigeration certification
    • Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
    • Ability to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and gauges
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Experience working with building automation or building management systems
    • Able to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and access rooftops; available to respond to after-hours emergencies as required (infrequent)
