    Workcrew Job Coach

    Springfield, MA

    $19.00-$20.00 / Hour

    Fulltime Position

    Monday-Friday

    Day Shifts

    The position of the Job Coach is responsible for supervising participants with developmental disabilities in a community-integrated employment, or enclave, setting. This includes the cleaning of office buildings, maintenance, and basic landscaping work at 24/7 residential programs and ServiceNet office properties. The job coach may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

    The Mobile Work Crew is supported by Job Coaches to help ensure that each member is learning the skills necessary to complete the job correctly. This program was designed as a training ground for people with developmental disabilities to gain valuable work experience and earn meaningful wages.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Familiar with power equipment such as various types of the lawnmower, chainsaws, and Snowblowers, etc.

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Two (2) years of experience working with the DBIS adult population as well as other disabilities

    Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

    Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

    Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Complete background check (CORI/ Fingerprint)

    Excellent written and verbal skills

    Pay & Benefits

    We offer a starting wage of $19.00-$20.00
