Job Title: Director
Location: Euclid, Ohio
Employment Type: Full-Time (30 hours a week – 8:30 to 2:30)
Overview:
We are a small, mission-driven educational center dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through education, life skills, and community integration. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and visionary Director to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality programming that meets the needs of our students and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of school operations
- Supervise, support, and evaluate staff and instructors
- Develop and oversee individualized education and enrichment plans for adult learners
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to disability services and education
- Coordinate and transport routine bank deposits as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for students and staff
- Collaborate with families, support administrators, caregivers, and community partners to support student success
- Lead enrollment efforts and community outreach
- Ensure all facilities, safety, and transportation procedures are followed
- Report regularly to the Board of Directors or governing body
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a special education or adult services setting
- Deep understanding of the needs of adults with disabilities
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
