Job Description
NBC Sports is seeking a highly skilled and electrical licensed Facility Electrician to join the Operations team at the Stamford, CT headquarters. This position is critical to maintaining the 24/7 reliability of our state-of-the-art broadcast and production facilities.
The Facility Electrician is responsible for conducting building maintenance, planning, inspection and functions of the facility and its MEP systems. The position is part of a team that manages multiple buildings within the Stamford and Monroe Campuses and will have responsibilities in building field inspection, construction or design.
The Facility Electrician will use their Connecticut electrical license to perform high-level preventative and corrective electrical maintenance, while also serving as a general facility engineer responsible for HVAC, plumbing, and general building upkeep. This role will begin on a day shift schedule for the first six months before transitioning to the 2nd shift (typically 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM ). Shift times are subject to change and may require overtime to support live broadcast schedules.
This position will be primarily based in Stamford, CT, with a need to be onsite at our Monroe, CT facility as needed.
