BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Facility Manager is fully accountable for all day-to-day property operations, overseeing and enhancing the value of the property and facility; including compliance with federal and state regulations as they relate to HGI’s facility and property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide on-going vendor/contractor communication concerning scheduling, vendor relations and certificates of insurance.
Support the needs of major HGI events including but not limited to Board meetings, special events, community sponsored events, tours, and employee functions.
Serve on the safety committee that oversees compliance with OSHA and other regulating bodies/offices related to HGI’s physical plant/facility.
Prepare and/or implement procedures and systems within company guidelines to ensure orderly, efficient workflow.
Understand and coordinate maintenance schedules for all associated items, such as but not limited to company automobiles, facility generators, fire protection systems.
Oversee the preventive and routine maintenance of facility related equipment including but not limited to heating/cooling, security system and water/sewage systems.
Serve as a member on all HGI planning committees for major events, major facility renovations/modifications, and community events.
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by demonstrating and communicating in a professional manner suitable for interaction with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
Performs quarterly fire drills.
Attends monthly LEPC meeting.
Member of the disaster preparedness team.
Inform supervisor of unusual, problematic patient/family issues.
Participate in emergency disaster processes as defined by HGI policies.
Demonstrates familiarity with HGI policies/procedures and follows state and federal regulatory requirements.
