Role

As a Facility Technician (also known as Maintenance Technician, Building Maintenance Specialist), you'll independently perform maintenance and repairs on buildings and common areas. You'll ensure the proper functioning of machinery, equipment, facilities, and systems to prevent breakdowns. This role involves maintaining flooring, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, scheduling preventative maintenance services, and collaborating with other departments on cost reduction projects. This is a night shift role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in general industrial facilities maintenance.
• Completion of a Building Maintenance Technology diploma/certificate, or comparable program preferred.
• Proficiency in HVAC/R Systems, Hydraulics, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
