Facility Manager – CA OP CO (Peachtree, Topo, and River Island Ranches)
Position Title: Facility Manager
Location: King City, CA

Reports to: Senior Director of Field Restoration
Pay Range: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00
Position Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and improving the infrastructure, buildings, and grounds across the Peachtree, Topo, and River Island ranch sites. This position ensures safe, efficient, and sustainable operations of all facilities while supporting ranch production and operational goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on leadership, and the ability to manage multiple locations and competing priorities in a dynamic agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction in the planning, maintenance, and operation of ranch facilities.
Coordinate with the Ranch Manager and executive leadership on construction projects and capital improvements.
Develop and manage facility budgets, timelines, and project plans.
Hire, supervise, and evaluate contractors and vendors responsible for facility construction, maintenance, and operations.
Oversee permitting and compliance efforts, working with county officials and consultants to ensure regulatory adherence.
Create and maintain a schedule for permitting, construction, and maintenance that aligns with ongoing ranch activities.
Manage facility staff to ensure timely delivery of maintenance, repairs, and operational support services.
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and security protocols across all sites.
Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure facility readiness.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility, construction, or maintenance management,
General Contractors License preferred but not required.
preferably within an agricultural, ranch, or rural operations environment.
Strong technical knowledge in building systems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, water systems, and general maintenance.
Proven experience managing contractors and construction or improvement projects.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage budgets effectively.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and sites.
Must live within hour from Topo and Peachtree Ranch.
Ability to perform hands-on physical work and operate equipment as needed.
Comfortable working outdoors in varied terrain and weather conditions.
Valid California driver’s license with the ability to travel regularly between ranch locations.
Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or experience with sustainable ranch or agricultural infrastructure systems.

Compensation
Pay Range: $90,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other company-supported programs.
