Facility Operations Manager - Metals Recycling - Base Salary to 135k/year - Concord, NH

• Our client is a leading manufacturer and exporter of recycled metal products in North America. Playing a pertinent role in the feedstock of the global economy, our client company has recently been named World’s Most Sustainable Company by Corporate Knights.
• Our metals recycling client is looking to add a Facility Operations Manager (internally titled Recycling Operations Facility Manager) to the team. The Facility Operations Manager will focus on driving and guiding overall operational effectiveness relating to Environmental Health & Safety, Maintenance, Quality Control, and all Inter-Yard Logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory management oversight
• Utilization of personnel and equipment to maximize processing abilities
• Process Management of bailing/sorting of nonferrous materials and purchasing NF material at retail scale and docks
• Ensures effort and equipment are compliant with company’s EHS regulations
• Maintains Safety Program by ensuring safe work practices and equipment
• Monitors a team of 15 – perform yearly evaluations, manage PTO and production schedule, training, hiring/firing of employees

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma; plus for higher education
• 5+ years in metals recycling industry or related nonferrous background
• 2+ years supervising hourly employees
• Robust knowledge of Nonferrous Materials Grading
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Familiar with all yard equipment
