Our logistics facilities operate in a dynamic, high-traffic environment where safety and professionalism are critical. We are seeking a dependable Unarmed Facility Security Officer to join our team.

Position Overview

The Unarmed Facility Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at our warehouse and logistics facilities. This role focuses on patrolling, access control, driver check-in, and traffic direction to support safe and efficient daily operations.

The position is primarily based at one location, with occasional assignments at a secondary site.

Security duties are the primary responsibility of this role. Additional administrative or site-support tasks may be assigned as time and conditions allow.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol buildings, yards, and surrounding areas

Secure entrances, exits, and restricted areas

Check in delivery drivers, vendors, and visitors

Verify identification and maintain visitor and delivery logs

Direct truck and vehicle traffic to ensure safe site operations

Monitor for unauthorized access, safety hazards, or suspicious activity

Report incidents and communicate concerns to management

Escort visitors or contractors as needed

Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

1–3 years of security or related experience preferred

Ability to obtain and maintain a California Guard Card

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Professional demeanor and attention to detail

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Reliable transportation for travel between assigned sites

Day shift; overtime may be available

40-hour workweek
