About the Role:

J H Metal Finishing is looking for a motivated and hardworking Factory General Help team member to join our production floor in New Britain, CT. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a hands-on manufacturing environment and build a lasting career in metal finishing. Responsibilities:

Assist with general production tasks on the factory floor to support daily manufacturing operations

Load and unload parts and materials for metal finishing processes

Support finishing technicians with plating, coating, or surface treatment operations

Inspect finished parts for quality and ensure they meet production standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety guidelines

Move materials and finished goods throughout the facility using proper handling techniques

Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to a team-oriented production environment

Requirements:

Prior manufacturing, factory, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks

Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to chemicals and machinery

Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up and contributing every shift

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately

Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
