    Job Description The Factory Office Coordinator supports daily office and production activities in a manufacturing environment. This role assists with purchasing, customer service, order entry, and basic production coordination. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities and is suitable for an organized, detail‑oriented individual looking to grow in manufacturing or operations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Office Administration & Coordination

    Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, customers, and vendors

    Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails

    Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation

    Purchasing & Inventory Management

    Assist with ordering materials and supplies from approved vendors

    Create and process purchase orders in the ERP system

    Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies

    Coordinate inventory counts and adjustments with warehouse and production teams

    Customer Service & Order Processing

    Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or online portal

    Process order updates, cancellations, returns, and warranty requests

    Help resolve basic order or product issues in a timely manner

    Basic Production Planning Support

    Assist the Production Planner with tracking schedules and material needs

    Communicate order requirements and updates to production teams

    Report inventory discrepancies or defects to the appropriate department

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Previous experience in an office, manufacturing, or customer service role preferred

    Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or order entry systems a plus

    Strong organizational and communication skills

    Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment
