Description:
The School of Business and Management seeks a dynamic and innovative temporary faculty member to teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in Digital Marketing for the 2025-2026 academic year. The position will run from August 16, 2025 - August 15, 2026. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of contemporary digital marketing strategies and tactics, coupled with significant professional experience in the industry and can clearly articulate the role that Faith plays in industry. A high level of student engagement is paramount, requiring the ability to create an interactive and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging and current course content in various areas of digital marketing, including but not limited to:
Foster a high level of student engagement in the classroom through the use of diverse pedagogical approaches, including case studies, corporate projects, discussions, guest speakers, and technology integration.
Work with the Department Chair to grow the Department of Digital and Strategic Marketing among incoming freshman and transfer students.
Support the Department Chair in the execution of student experiences specifically designed to enhance the portfolio of a Digital Marketing student.
Assess student learning through effective and timely grading of assignments, exams, and projects.
Connect and engage with students outside of the classroom by maintaining regular office hours in order to provide individual support and guidance to students (professionally, personally, and spiritually).
Contribute to the department and university through participation in meetings and other activities as appropriate.
Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of digital marketing.
Provide active and appropriate engagement on LinkedIn designed to promote the Department of Digital and Strategic Marketing and connect students with jobs and internships.
