    ABOUT THE ROLE: PHOTOGRAPHY PRODUCER

    The Photography Producer supports all aspects of the creative photography production process, to bring the creative vision of Fair Harbor to life and bring concepts to reality. The Photography Producer will ensure all components meet the creative and brand objectives on time and within the designated budget. The right candidate has a keen understanding of photo shoot production, is focused, loves production, career driven, possesses exceptional organizational skills and is a team player. The Photo Producer will be able to execute a photo shoot production (eCommerce and campaign) from creative briefs. Reports to the SVP, Creative Director and partners with cross-functional teams to execute photo shoots. Also helps manage post-production process and organization of photography library.

    LOCATION: New York, NY

    AS THE PHOTOGRAPHY PRODUCER, YOU WILL

    PHOTO SHOOT PRODUCTION:

    • Organize eCommerce & campaign shoots for the Fair Harbor including but not limited to, information gathering, shot lists, schedules, budgets, contracts and delivery specs
    • Creation and management of yearly content calendar, preparing photoshoot schedule based around product launch and marketing calendar (ex: catalog deadlines)
    • Manage options and negotiate rates on all necessary external resources (e.g., locations, models, photographers, stylists, hair & makeup artists, props, etc.)
    • Prepare and obtain all release forms for Photographers and Talent, vetted by Legal.
    • Creation and management of shot lists to support the Ecom and Market needs of the business
    • Coordinate with production for samples for each shoot
    • Organize transport of samples to/from set
    • Create and distribute Call Sheets prior to each photo shoot
    • Support team with any additional needs on set
    • Assist on shoots to make sure all goes according to plan needed
    • Manage post-production process and organization of photography library
    • Assist on shoots to make sure all goes according to plan

    BUDGET & INVOICING:

    • Reconcile all invoices and production expenses from photo shoots
    • Manage New Vendor Paperwork through final approval with AP Team
    • Maintain proper accounting of all submitted and outstanding invoices
    • Support Director with budgeting docs as needed

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • B.A./B.S degree or equivalent experience
    • 3-5 years experience in fashion/retail preferable
    • MAC/PC proficient
    • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite programs. Word and Excel knowledge a must
    • Experience as key liaison with, as well influencing and partnering with senior leadership
    • Ability to make high-risk, timely decisions; deadline driven
    • Detail oriented
    • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong interpersonal, and collaboration teamwork skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
    • Ability to adapt well to changing priorities
