POSITION SUMMARY
The ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (AA) will be responsible on an as-needed, part-time basis , for copying, printing and organizing materials; producing notebooks and putting together briefing materials for calls and meetings; and assisting with other administrative tasks in support of the organization’s Executive Director. This position requires someone who has tremendous organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail. This position is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment; enjoys taking care of things the right way the first time; and who figures out how to get most tasks done, but asks smart questions when there is a need for guidance.

SALARY
The starting salary budgeted for this position is $18.50-$21 per hour, commensurate with experience.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Reports to the Executive Director or her designee and works closely with the Executive Director and other staff.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position will work remotely in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and regularly drop materials off at the Executive Director’s home office. You will work on average 10 to 20 hours per week, although no minimum is guaranteed. The schedule will vary and depend on the Executive Director’s travel schedule and will be busier some weeks (when the Executive Director is in DC) and lighter on other weeks.
