You are an ambassador for the exceptional service that are hallmarks of our food & beverage experience. Serve up holiday cheer! You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Host, you will make our guests Feel Welcome from the moment they arrive!

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service
• Understand the Server’s tasks in the outlet
• Understand shift-end reports in the outlet and the Point of Sale System
• Understand all reservation systems and iPad systems for seating charts
• Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Know all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
• Follow brand policies, procedures, and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned
• Follow hotel time and attendance policy
• Follow grooming and attire guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or reservations preferred
• Previous Point of Sale System experience an asset, but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
