SUMMARY

Develops implements and maintains Bill of Materials and material master in ORACLE. Maintains material master information related to suppliers, processes, parameters any data required by ORACLE ERP system. Creates, maintains and implements Engineering Change Notifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops implements and maintains Bill of Materials and material master in ORACLE.

Creates and or maintains material master information related to suppliers, processes, parameters and any data required by ORACLE.

Ensure seamless flow of released drawings as well as information integrity between Drawing, LevPDM and ORACLE.

Works with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Purchasing teams to ensure drawings are released correctly into ORACLE.

Responsible for releasing bill of materials once data integrity is confirmed. Responsible for communicating release to all stakeholders.

Responsible for processing Engineering Change Requests as well as coordinating any changes with planning and procurement activities as well as responsible for notification to all teams affected by the changes.

Works with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and correct data within ORACLE.

Works with Purchasing and Finance to ensure accurate pricing in BOM is used in Product cost tracking process.

Acts as ORACLE advisor for Product Management, Engineering and Supply Chain departments.

Responsible for preparing alternate bill of materials for rework operations.

Available to assist in other areas of the company, as directed by supervisor or manager

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Five or more years of experience in ORACLE configuration and item master management.

Knowledge in Drawing Applications and understanding of drawings is required.

Solid understanding of Configuration Management best practices and principles is required.

Solid production planning, inventory control and purchasing experience is required.

Must be able to learn and become knowledgeable in Product Ordering Codes.

BS/MS in Mechanical, or Electrical, Engineering desired.

Windows Operating system and Windows Office proficiency is required.

Demonstrated ability to work well at all levels of the organization with both engineering and non-engineering personnel.

Proven ability to collaborate and solid track record of excellent customer service.
