Faith Lutheran Church seeks a qualified person to provide musical leadership and creative vision to Faith's dynamic music and worship ministries. Experience in both Choral Directing and organ/piano performance and accompaniment is desired. Part-time position negotiable with compensation commensurate with applicant's experience and skill set. Faith Lutheran has a II/34 Balcom & Vaughan pipe organ (stop list available www.flccv.org), a Yamaha C7 semi-concert grand piano and a four octave set of Malmark handbells. Faith Lutheran has both blended and traditional worship styles at two Sunday services, rooted in Lutheran heritage and theology, following the liturgical calendar. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, work with multiple choirs (all ages) and individuals of varying musical abilities, work with instrumentalists and have the ability to arrange music when needed, work with Pastor and Worship Team in planning and implementation of worship services, provide services for funerals/weddings/other events in the life of the congregation, maintain musical instruments and create opportunities for outreach to the community through concerts, events and classes.
