DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES.
The Building Maintenance position is responsible for ensuring that the building and production equipment is operating properly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A.C. / Heating and Refrigeration
- Welding
- Boilers/hot water generation
- Plumbing
- Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge – 3 phase circuits
- Carpentry
- Elevate problem areas the department supervisors as they arise – maintain constant communication with supervisor
- Maintain high quality/professional appearance and demeanor
- Work as a member of the LSG Sky Chefs team to ensure the highest quality product and service is delivered to our airline customers
- Coordinate other duties as assigned
- Must have a Commercial Drives License ( Class A or B) or be able to obtain within 60 days of employment.
- Must have own hand tools
- Must have 5 or more years of experience and 3 certifications in the any of the following areas: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Welding, Boilers, Motors and Controls, Equipment Maintenance, Heating and Refrigeration
OUR EMPLOYEES MUST BE ABLE TO:
- Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends or holidays
- Work overtime when required
- Pass a criminal background /Airport TSA Check and drug test
- Ability to handle dry ice
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Will be exposed to various temperature changes (hot and cold) and noise as required
- This position requires to be active, walking, heavy lifting and pushing 50+ lbs
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
- Exposure to fall hazards

SHIFT: 10:00PM-6:30AM -Subject to Change based on seniority shift bid
Required Skills
Must be able to obtain a CDL Class A or B certification within 60 days from hire date. LSG Sky Chefs will provide the employee with a truck at the time of the exam; However, employee must purchase certification independently. Must be certified in HVAC, Welding, Plumbing or a related field with three to five years of experience to be considered. Must be able to obtain a TSA clearance and pass a DOT physical and drug test.
