  • Responsibilities

    DUTIES:

    • Provide production support to include precise measurement, finished goods audit, and roving inspection utilizing the micrometers, calipers and coordinate measuring machine.
    • Under the guidance of the Quality Engineer, reject suspect or nonconforming components and executes piece parts, assembly and shipping holds, utilizing a personal computer, Excel. Word, SAP software programs, and other applicable department peripherals.
    • Provide quality planning and instructions utilizing the applicable aforementioned department peripherals.
    • Designed and coordinate audits.
    • Perform analysis of field returns and identifies root causes for discrepancies utilizing the applicable aforementioned production peripherals.
    • Identify differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggests modification to conform to standards utilizing the applicable aforementioned production peripherals.
    • Write documentation and reports to describe program evaluation, testing and correction utilizing the applicable aforementioned production peripherals.
    • Adheres to approved Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned or are not included here but are within the context of duties defined.

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Measurement equipment knowledge (Smart Scope, CMM, caliper, micrometer, tensile, pin gages, etc)
    • Quality molding knowledge (basic defect concepts: short shot, splay, flash, etc.)
    • Blue print knowledge
    • Able to work on different shifts and overtime as needed
    • Good communication skills
    • Proactive
    • Good attitude
    • Able to perform activities as needed
    • Safety conscious
    • Computer skills (Microsoft office)

     

    EDUCATION REQUIRED: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED, ONE-YEAR CERTIFICATE FROM COLLEGE OR TECHNICAL SCHOOL PREFERRED.

    EXPERIENCE:  A MINIMUM OF THREE (3) YEARS OF PROVEN QUALITY ASSURANCE MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE AS A QUALITY AUDITOR/INSPECTOR AND OR TRAINING; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Strong working knowledge of DCMA and DoD Procedures and Guides as they pertain to regulatory compliance, and Government-required tools associated with Government Property
    • Experience answering to Property Management Systems Audits and DCMA/FEDSIM Government Property Administrators’ inquiries, including internal company audits and external Government/Customer audits
    • Strong command of FAR Parts 45 & 52 and related DFARS, agency-specific regulations, and prime customer-tailored terms
    • Experience addressing and responding to CARS (Levels 1-3) and corresponding CAPS
    • Experience in preparing Root Cause and Correction Actions
    • Experience with writing, improving, or developing both program-specific or company procedures, in accordance with corporate-wide strategies and policies
    • Strong knowledge of Property Procedures and how other functions' procedures impact and affect the Property organization
    • Knowledge of the DoD’s Government Property Module and its functionality as part of the DoD’s Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)
    • Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, mentoring, developing, and retaining employees. This includes a history of providing performance reviews and ratings
