Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding communication strategies and therapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Prior experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
