TITLE: Assistant Controller

Falcon’s continued growth requires building out personnel to join our team.  You will be joining a progressive Executive Leadership team in a dynamic fast-paced environment. 

COMPENSATION: $75,000 to $90,000 DOE

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Controller and having daily interactions with the President and Management, the Assistant Controller will be driving month-end reporting, overseeing payables and receivables clerks, and ensuring accounting procedures are being followed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare timely monthly financial statements and compare to budgets
• Reconcile carrier invoicing to internal data
• File sales taxes and maintain register of customer/vendor exemptions
• Work with PEO on payroll filings
• Monitor working capital health, receivable aging, approving disbursements
• Report on asset balances for bank credit facility

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years’ experience in similar accounting role
• Accounting certifications or pursuing certifications
• Strong experience with accounting procedures and principles
• Significant experience with driving period end close process
• Advanced abilities with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online
