    Job Description

    The Training Systems Intern is a developmental role to gain practical experience to provide support an automotive manufacturing plant in New Braunfels, Texas. The $110 million facility manufactures Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for automated and assisted driving.

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Training Systems Intern to support the implementation of training record management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role blends administrative precision with digital content creation and systems support, offering hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training operations.

    Duration: 12 Weeks
    Schedule: 24 Hours/Week
    Department: Human Relations
    Reports To: Head of Human Relations

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Systems Support * Create training groups and courses within LMS. * Upload and manage class training history within the LMS. * Create and upload training packages in LMS. * Assist with LMS troubleshooting and user support. * Utilize content management systems and digital tools to optimize training delivery.
    • Training Records Management * Enter employee training records in the LMS. * Audit and verify documentation for completeness and compliance. * Assist in organizing and archiving historical training data.
    • Content Development * Create and format digital training materials (e.g., presentations, infographics, videos). * Ensure content aligns with instructional and branding standards. * Collaborate with HR, Environmental, Safety & Health, and other cross functional teams to gather subject matter and feedback.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Sophomore standing or above at an accredited college or university.
    • Minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
    • Relocation is not available for this opportunity.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Safetrack, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar).
    • Experience with digital content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Ispring).
