About the Role: Soccer Stars is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to join our team and create a fun, engaging, and development-focused soccer experience for young athletes. Our coaches are more than instructors—they are mentors who build confidence, foster teamwork, and help kids develop a lifelong love of the game.
Key Responsibilities:
Player Development: Lead age-appropriate, skill-based sessions that focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive and inclusive setting.
Game Leadership: Coach monthly league games, ensuring a supportive and enjoyable experience where effort and improvement are celebrated over competition.
Communication: Maintain open and timely communication with families, team members, and program staff. Share updates on player progress and upcoming activities.
Character Building: Model and teach core values such as respect, perseverance, and responsibility through the sport.
Individual Growth: Informally assess each player’s development and adjust coaching techniques to meet a variety of needs and learning styles.
Preferred Qualifications:
US Soccer 4v4 and/or 7v7 licenses (or willingness to pursue coaching certifications)
Previous youth coaching experience, especially in soccer
Strong communication skills with both children and adults
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Passion for youth development and inclusive sports environments

Hours: Weekday afternoons (practices 1x/week); game days 1x/month in the evenings. Preferred availability starting at 2:30 PM across all weekdays.
