SEEKING OFFICE MANAGER FOR SURGERY CLINIC IN THE GORGEOUS WILLAMETTE VALLEY
Our growing general surgery practice serves the communities of the eastern Willamette Valley in Oregon. As a physician-owned practice based in Silverton, our team of dedicated health care professionals have offered excellent care for residents of our local Silverton and Stayton communities for more than 20 years.
As office manager, you will lead our team and work directly with our physician owners as we continue to grow the general surgery practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the overall direction and performance of the clinic
- Oversee and direct all daily clinic operations
- Oversee clinical and front office personnel, including the recruitment, orientation and management
- Promote an environment of teamwork and cooperation among staff and physicians
- Ensure cost-effective, efficient management of clinic operations
- Work with physician owners to:
- develop policies, procedures and processes to establish strategic plans, annual goals and revenue targets
- create educational trainings and program for team
- Ensure timely billing/collections and revenue maximization as well as monitor reimbursement from government and third parties
- Oversee regulatory compliance efforts including adherence to HIPAA, OSHA and other regulatory guidelines
- Assist with business development outreach and help physicians prepare for presentations
- Maintain website and practice materials such as forms, brochures, business cards, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of experience in medical practice management
- Strong financial background with prior experience in accounts payable, general ledger, tax reporting and budgeting
- In-depth knowledge of personnel management, employment law, compliance, workplace safety and other regulatory issues pertaining to a group practice
- Personnel management experience strongly preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience managing insurance benefits
- Knowledge of medical office workflow
- Ability to collect, analyze and understand data trends and generate technical reports
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
