Family Allergy & Asthma is looking for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to work in our Allergy Clinic! JOB TYPE: Full-time 

LOCATION:  Elizabethtown is the home office with travel to Campbellsville possible 2 to 3 times per week

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday with every other Tuesday off, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

PAY: $103,0000 - $115,000 / year

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for managing health problems related to allergies, asthma and immunology
• Work independently and collaboratively with physician and nursing staff
• Perform medical history and physical exams for new and established patients
• Prescribe appropriate medications, and order diagnostic/laboratory tests in accordance with patient's needs
• Develop care plans and implement treatment plans based on clinical decisions
• Provide excellent, efficient, and patient-focused service in a fast paced practice
• Work well with ancillary staff and management to support core values of the practice

COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to fluently speak and read English
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, policies, patient care plans and procedure manuals
•  Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written, with all levels of staff and patients
• Current APRN license is required
• Strong computer/EMR skills are essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 1 year of primary care experience
• Day travel required, no weekends or late evenings
