    We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Marketing & Communications Coordinator!

    The position will support the Marketing Team in a wide variety of marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, and event planning projects. The ideal candidate will be a creative individual who is organized, driven, and has the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects without constant oversight or missing deadlines. Candidate should have a strong interest and knack for marketing/advertising and be a very competent writer. We are looking for someone who is interested in learning about healthcare marketing and growing with the company. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator reports to the Chief Business Development Officer with day-to-day supervision by the Marketing Manager.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES

    • Write and proof content for multiple platforms, including website content, email content, newsletters, flyers, brochures, and more
    • Website management: creating content, monitoring, and updates
    • Social media management, such as updates to Facebook, Twitter and more
    • Monitor online presence of company, our offices, and our healthcare providers
    • Support the execution of our PR strategy: research, writing press releases, talking points, pitching stories to media and handling media relations as needed
    • Oversee printing needs for the company, such as creating and ordering business cards, brochures, and keeping necessary pieces appropriately stocked
    • Health fair & event management: help schedule, coordinate, and work (as needed) various health fairs and community events
    • Help in the planning and execution of internal events, such as large meetings, parties, charity events and other internal initiatives
    • Sponsorship management: serve as point of contact for certain events, coordinating details such as attendee list, signage, onsite presence, etc.
    • Responsible for managing inventory and new ideas for promotional items that are handed out to existing patients and at health fairs and events
    • Other responsibilities, as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, journalism, electronic media, communications or a related field
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a marketing or communications related position
    • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to work independently and handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously
    • Strong writing, proofreading, spelling and grammar skills.
    • Interest in healthcare marketing, advertising, and public relations

    PREFERRED

    • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or InDesign
    • Proficiency in photography, videography, or other creative skills
    • Advanced skills with PowerPoint
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with varying types of individuals
    • Good listener
