About the Family A warm and welcoming family in Austin is seeking a reliable, proactive, and nurturing Family Assistant/Housekeeper to support their household. The family currently has a 17-month-old daughter and is expecting another baby in September 2026. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and is looking for an extra set of hands to help maintain a smooth, organized, and happy home environment.

Key Responsibilities Childcare Support:

Assist mom with caring for a 17-month-old toddler Engage in age-appropriate play and developmental activities Help with feeding, diapering, and nap routines as needed Provide occasional support with newborn care after arrival Housekeeping Duties:

General daily cleaning and organization (tidying, dishes, laundry, etc.) Maintain cleanliness of common areas,living room, kitchen, and children’s spaces Keep household supplies stocked and organized

Family Assistant Tasks:

Meal prep and light cooking for the family Assist with grocery shopping or errands as needed Help maintain an organized, efficient household

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role (family assistant, nanny, or housekeeper) preferred Comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home parent Strong organizational and multitasking skills Warm, dependable, and proactive attitude Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing family Bilingual (Spanish or French) is a plus, but not required
