We are a warm, busy family with two school-aged children (ages 9 and 12) seeking an experienced and proactive Family Assistant \ House Manager to help keep our home running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, reliable, and enjoys creating a clean, well-functioning, and welcoming environment for a family.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintain and coordinate the family calendar, including school schedules, extracurricular activities, appointments, and events.

Provide regular updates and reminders to parents about upcoming commitments.

Safely drive children to and from school, after-school activities, playdates, and appointments as needed.

Supervise homework and encourage good study habits when needed.

Engage with children in a kind and respectful manner that aligns with the family’s values and routines; ability to do so in Spanish a plus.

Run errands as needed - i.e. dry cleaning, pick up or return packages, plan home events, as needed, etc.

Overseeing laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting away clothing and linens

Keeping house clean, organized, and tidy

Grocery organization, produce prep, and ensuring essential household items are stocked

Prepare healthy, kid-friendly meals and snacks for the family that meet dietary restrictions of family.

Plan meals ahead of time, pack lunches for kids and adults while keeping the kitchen clean and organized.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a house manager, family assistant, or in a similar role.

Experience working with children in a school setting a plus

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to multitask and adapt to changing family needs.

Spanish intermediate or better a plus

Comfortable with pets (small house dog) required

High School Diploma required

Some college or higher preferred

CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
