    Our busy family law firm is growing, and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners and administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills along with FAMILY LAW EXPERIENCE, can easily use today’s technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect! Responsibilities: • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation rights, spousal support, and adoption cases. • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on evolving laws and regulations. • Draft clear, persuasive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court briefs with precision and professionalism. • Represent clients confidently in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings to achieve favorable outcomes. • Draft various legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and settlement agreements. Qualifications: • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required • Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required • Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years • Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Must be licensed to practice law in Tennessee to be considered for this position. • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the Tennessee Bar. • 5+ years of experience in family law, specifically in TN, is required and cannot be negotiated. • Proficiency in accurately tracking billable hours. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. • Willingness to network and grow your contacts and referral sources. • Genuine interest in Family Law and a strong commitment to client advocacy. Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 yearly
