Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases • Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action • Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process • Represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, and spousal maintenance matters • Draft and review prenuptial agreements and related legal documents • Handle sensitive issues such as domestic violence, child custody disputes, and child abuse cases • Advocate for clients in hearings, trials, and mediations Qualifications: • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants • Active license to practice law in Texas • Proven experience in family law litigation and negotiation • Strong written and oral advocacy skills • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently Compensation: $97,500 + bonus
