Responsibilities: • Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process • Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action Supervising case teams Handling firm-critical cases Assisting with practice growth Training/developing litigators Handle sophisticated litigation matters from inception through trial Help oversee case strategy across the firm Assist in developing litigation systems and standards Work closely with firm leadership on practice growth and case management Serve as a trusted advisor to clients facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives Qualifications: • Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred • Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high • Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association) Board Certified Specialist in Family Law10-15+ years of substantial family law litigation experienceSignificant first-chair trial experienceDemonstrated success in handling complex contested mattersExperience supervising or leading attorneysStrong reputation for professionalism and ethicsExceptional writing, advocacy, and analytical skills Compensation: $200,000+ depending on performance
