Responsibilities: • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed • Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process Qualifications: • Licensed to practice law in the State of New York • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations • Attention to detail • Willing to learn new technology • Court experience in matrimonial cases Compensation: $110,000 - $175,000
