Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony/spousal support, child support/child custody, and real estate. Responsibilities: • Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action • Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process • Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases Qualifications: • Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required • Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations • WSBA license in good standing Compensation: $110,000 - $165,000
