    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic, community-minded professional to serve at the heart of Jewish family life in our community. This role centers on building meaningful relationships with families and children (ages 0–18), identifying their needs, and executing high-quality programs that foster a strong, lifelong connection to Jewish life and values.

    Key Responsibilities

    Family Outreach & Development · Serve as the primary point of contact for families with children.

    · Design and implement strategic initiatives for children (0–18), their parents, and grandparents.

    · Build and maintain relationships with families, identifying and cultivating volunteers to support programs and events.

    Early Childhood Engagement (Ages 0–11) · Manage all aspects of PJ Library (ages 0–8) and PJ Our Way (ages 9–11). · Oversee subscriptions, database tracking, budgeting, and community engagement. · Supervise part-time PJ Ambassadors, supporting hyper-local programming to reach new families.

    Preteen, Teen, and College Engagement (Ages 12–22) · Create and expand opportunities for engagement among teens and preteens. · Oversee programs such as JServe, teen Israel and camp grants, and other volunteer platforms. · Collaborate with community partners to support college-aged students and foster Jewish campus engagement.

    Community Engagement & Strategy · Maintain a visible presence at community events and public spaces. · Collaborate with other Jewish and secular organizations for cross-community engagement. · Set and evaluate measurable short- and long-term goals for each program and initiative. · Track participation and engagement data to inform strategic decisions. · Develop and implement a robust outreach and marketing strategy, including strengthening social media presence.

    Qualifications & Experience · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. · Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. · Commitment to Jewish values and a passion for building inclusive, vibrant community life. · Proficiency with program planning, volunteer engagement, and data tracking is preferred.
